The second half of 2026 has brought a number of new developments across the speedikon Group. With new features in speedikon® C, upcoming events and more to look forward to, there is plenty to discover in this autumn edition of our newsletter.

speedikon® C 2026.2: New Functions for Everyday Operations
The latest release of speedikon® C introduces a range of new functions designed to make everyday Facility Management processes easier and more transparent. Here are some of the highlights:
Maintenance from One Place
The new standard maintenance module brings maintenance, inspections, site visits and defect management together in one task list. Recurring tasks can be defined, upcoming work generated automatically or manually, and external service providers assigned directly. From the initial task to the final feedback and defect resolution, the entire process can be followed in one place.
2D Graphics with New Possibilities
With the new Plus mode, 2D graphic applications now offer additional tools for working with plans. Users can choose individual reference points when inserting content from the clipboard, remove specific plan elements without recreating the entire drawing and customise the colours used for standard graphic evaluations.
Faster Reservations for Parking Spaces and Vehicles
Parking and vehicle reservations now offer more flexibility. Parking spaces can be booked directly from the graphic view, with the system suggesting the next available starting time for same-day bookings. A new application also makes it possible to reserve vehicles conveniently from mobile devices.
More Transparency in Energy Management
The new “Usage” dialogue provides a clearer view of how data series are connected and used in formulas. This makes it easier to see which calculations are affected before making changes. At the same time, Charts 2.0 is leaving its beta phase, supported by a new analysis function that checks whether existing evaluations can be migrated.
New Ways to Visualise Data
Two new diagram types expand the options for presenting information in the Search Engine. The instrument display provides a configurable visualisation of values, while Gantt charts show appointments clearly on a timeline. New cockpit widgets also allow graphics and object information to be integrated directly into your cockpits.
Build Formulas from Reusable Components
The Search Engine now allows recurring parts of a formula to be saved as reusable building blocks. Instead of entering the same calculation steps repeatedly, users can use these components across several formulas, making calculated characteristics faster and more consistent to create and maintain.

SAP RE-FX: What Happens to Existing System Landscapes?
The announced end of maintenance for SAP RE-FX raises an important question for companies using integrated system landscapes: does a transition mean having to rebuild established processes from scratch?
Not necessarily. SAP can continue to handle commercial processes such as finance, controlling and contract billing, while speedikon® C can continue to cover operational processes such as space management, CAD/BIM integration and workplace management.
Existing interfaces between the two systems can continue to be used and developed according to individual requirements. For organisations moving towards an SAP Cloud environment as part of an S/4HANA transformation, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) can also provide an integration environment.
This allows companies to modernise their system landscape step by step while continuing to use the systems for the processes they are best suited to handle.
Direct Exchange with Customers
Digital events and webinars provide valuable opportunities to share information, but direct exchange with customers remains an important part of the speedikon Group.
In October, customers and experts will meet to discuss practical questions and current developments in Corporate Real Estate Management, Facility Management, Energy Management and Data Center Management.
