Framence, developer of the photorealistic digital twin platform FRAMENCE, has formed a strategic partnership with Grupo Porta, a Chilean engineering company with more than 40 years of experience in electrical systems, renewable energy solutions, and industrial energy projects.
FRAMENCE enables the creation of spatially accurate digital representations of technical environments based on a 3D coordinate system, ensuring dimensional precision and detailed visualization of assets and installations. Active in six countries, Grupo Porta supports mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects with high-performance energy technologies designed to accelerate the transition toward more sustainable operations.
Through the collaboration, Grupo Porta can leverage FRAMENCE’s photorealistic digital twin technology to visualize complex energy installations in an immersive, Street View-like environment. Users can navigate facilities, production areas, and technical installations remotely as if on site, link documentation and live data directly to physical assets, and support monitoring and maintenance activities within a single, traceable digital environment. This applies across a wide range of solutions, including renewable energy systems, hybrid energy equipment, mobile photovoltaic plants, electrical panels, and monitoring-enabled infrastructure.
“This partnership represents another important step in expanding Framence’s presence in the energy and sustainability sectors,” says Adrian Merkel, Managing Director of Framence. “Grupo Porta’s extensive experience in energy engineering and its strong position in the Chilean and Latin American markets make them an ideal partner to apply digital twin technology in demanding industrial environments.”
From Grupo Porta’s perspective, the partnership strengthens its ability to deliver innovative, future-ready energy solutions. By incorporating FRAMENCE into its portfolio, Grupo Porta aims to further reduce project management times, support remote monitoring, and provide clients with reliable digital tools that improve efficiency and long-term operational performance.
“Digitalization plays a key role in making energy projects more efficient, transparent, and secure,” says Fernando Monsalves, CEO of Grupo Porta. “By partnering with Framence, we can complement our engineering and energy solutions with a powerful digital platform that helps our customers better understand, operate, and optimize their facilities.”
Looking ahead, Framence and Grupo Porta see strong potential for expanding the use of digital twins across renewable energy, mining, and industrial projects. The partnership supports both companies’ long-term strategies to drive innovation, improve sustainability outcomes, and enable more agile, data-driven project execution in complex technical environments.
