The CAFM specialists from the speedikon Group will be exhibiting at the CAFM trade fair in Fulda on 26 and 27 June. The topics of the trade fair appearance are diverse and address various pain points in FM:
- Making sensible use of AI in facility management
- Bringing together different image and planning data
- Historisation of data
- Fast data acquisition with apps
Using AI sensibly
AI has actually been around in CAFM for a long time: any algorithm that summarises or evaluates something already falls into this category. But AI is much more than that. It accumulates, it analyses, it integrates, it reads, it answers questions with continuous text. But what it is not allowed to do in FM is hallucinate, i.e. invent facts. Find out how AI always delivers reliable results at the speedikon stand at the CAFM trade fair.
Integrating image and planning data
Another focus of the trade fair presentation is how a wide variety of image and planning data can be integrated. In addition to floor plans and BIM models, there are numerous other image and graphic formats, from photos to Google Maps, which can be used for day-to-day work. Visitors to the speedikon stand will be able to see how they can merge all these graphic representations into a single digital twin of buildings and systems.
Complete historisation of data
Anyone who wants to use a CAFM system for operator responsibility or requires complete historisation of their data for other reasons will find out at the speedikon stand how this can be implemented directly from the cloud without any loss of performance. From conversion measures to proof of liability, various scenarios are conceivable and can be mapped.
Data recording with apps
Apps are essential for consistent and fast data recording. This is because apps have a number of advantages over the classic writing pad:
- Apps are available at all times thanks to smartphones.
- Their screens request exactly what is needed.
- Virtually any employee can use them to record data.
- Data can be recorded at any time – whether during initial installation, when replacing parts or when significant changes are made to buildings and technology.
- Apps can use photos, videos and sound recordings from smartphones.
- With OCR, apps can even recognise writing and numbers – from system signs to meter readings.
- Visitors to the speedikon Group stand can also find out in which areas users are already using apps and what benefits they can achieve for themselves and their organisation.
When and where?
The CAFM Trade Fair & Congress will take place on Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 June 2025 at the Esperanto Congress and Cultural Centre in Fulda. Registrations are still possible.
