Framence connected with its international partner community for the first Framence Ecosystem Day of the year, creating space for strategic exchange and forward-looking discussion.
Designed to share product developments, explore new use cases and align on the future of digital twin technology, the session highlighted advancements across software, capture technology and spatial data integration.

Refining FRAMENCE
A central focus of the meeting was the latest updates to the FRAMENCE software. Rather than adding complexity, the latest improvements focus on making the platform more intuitive and efficient to use. Workflow adjustments, navigation refinements and usability enhancements may seem incremental, but at scale they make a real difference. They shape how smoothly projects run and how confidently teams work with digital twins in everyday operations.
These updates further simplify handling, increase operational efficiency and support partners in delivering high-quality photorealistic digital twins across a wide range of industries.
Digital Twins in Forensic Practice
One of the most compelling examples presented during the session was a project involving crime scene documentation with FRAMENCE.
Photorealistic digital twins were used to capture complex scenes and preserve them in a structured, navigable format. Investigators can revisit the scene virtually, examine spatial relationships and review evidence markers long after the physical location has been cleared.
It demonstrates how digital twin technology can extend beyond industrial use cases and support highly sensitive environments. A more detailed look at this application will follow in a dedicated article.
Improving the Capture Process
Innovation also happens on the hardware side. New camera technologies currently being tested were introduced during the session. The objective is clear: reduce capture time, increase image quality and enhance efficiency when documenting large or technically complex environments.
By continuously refining the recording process, Framence ensures that the entire workflow, from capture to visualization, remains technologically forward-looking and performance-driven.
speedikon VIP: Making Data Visible in Context
Another key topic was the presentation of the speedikon Visual Intelligence Platform (VIP).
While FRAMENCE creates photorealistic digital environments, speedikon VIP connects those environments with additional data sources. BIM models, point clouds, GIS data, CAD drawings, photos and system information are brought together in a shared spatial view.
Instead of navigating separate tools and disconnected databases, users see all relevant information in context. Machines, rooms and components are anchored to their real-world geometry. Associated data such as maintenance records, energy metrics or cost information is linked directly to those locations.
This spatial approach turns fragmented information into a coherent structure. Patterns become clearer. Relationships are easier to understand. Decisions are based on a complete picture rather than isolated datasets.
To explore how this approach unlocks the value of existing data, take a look at the article “Why You’re Not Using Your Data to Its Full Potential.”
A Network That Continues to Grow
The Ecosystem Day also reflected the continued growth of the Framence partner network. With partners from different regions and industries, each session brings new perspectives and practical insights.
Among the new partners joining the network are AbastibleTec, KahraGen Engineering, Septem Novem, FutureMain, PT Ganesha Indonesia EPCM, FIGENER, GMODIS and DEISO. Their involvement broadens FRAMENCE’s international reach and makes photorealistic digital twins accessible in even more markets worldwide.
Digital twin technology evolves through exchange, feedback and real-world application. The discussions during this strategic exchange once again showed how collective expertise accelerates meaningful progress.
