In facility and infrastructure management, data is abundant, but connections between them are rare. Plans, models, sensor readings, and photos usually exist side by side rather than communicating with each other. The result: information silos that complicate analysis and decision-making.
With speedikon® VIP, speedikon FM aims to tackle this problem without disrupting the inherent logic of existing systems.
Why a New Tool Is Needed
Many digitalization initiatives have failed by trying to force everything into one central platform. Different formats, inconsistent data updates, and incompatible coordinate systems make this almost impossible.
speedikon® VIP deliberately takes a different approach: it respects the autonomy of source systems and connects them through spatial-logical relationships into a consistent whole. Instead of a data lake, speedikon® VIP builds a network that is flexible, transparent, and adaptable.
Built on Four Strong Pillars
The approach works because the group combines its strengths:
- speedikon FM AG contributes CAFM logic, decades of process expertise, and 2D/3D know-how from its CAD history.
- Framence GmbH provides photorealistic 3D twins as the visual foundation of the new software.
- WiriTec GmbH brings more than 15 years of experience in energy and sensor data analysis in complex production environments.
- Innomatik AG complements the software with AI and computer vision expertise, bridging research and practical application.
This mix creates a tool that not only integrates data but also understands and makes it usable.
From Patchwork to Logical 3D World
An example: pipelines in an industrial plant.
Some parts exist in BIM models, others in old CAD drawings, schematic diagrams only as PDFs or on paper. Utility networks are recorded in GIS systems. And each system has its own logic and coordinates.
speedikon® VIP brings it all together: aligning geometry, adding context, and making data easy to navigate. What was once scattered becomes a coherent digital environment that supports planning, operations, and simulation.
