Why We Are Heading to the \u201cAntiques Show\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In a recent industry conversation, the CAFM Trade Fair in Fulda was jokingly referred to as an \u201cantiques show.\u201d We took the comment with a smile, but it raises an interesting point.<\/p>\n

Facility Management itself is far from outdated. What is outdated are fragmented processes, disconnected information flows, paper plans without context, and digital filing cabinets that slow down everyday work.<\/p>\n

This is exactly where we see the opportunity for innovation. From AI-supported ticket analysis and voice-based issue reporting to intelligent image recognition and searchable plans and documents, modern technologies can help remove these inefficiencies.<\/p>\n

Into Space at 14<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Innovation often begins with curiosity. Sometimes it also begins much earlier than expected.<\/p>\n

Julian Mayer, just 14 years old, developed his own radiation measurement system and sent it into the stratosphere using a balloon experiment. With this project, he won first place in the regional Jugend forscht<\/em> competition in the category Geo- and Space Sciences.<\/p>\n

We had the opportunity to support this remarkable project and were particularly impressed by the technical depth, persistence, and scientific curiosity behind it.<\/p>\n

Smart Cockpits with Direct Access to Key Data<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The new cockpits in speedikon\u00ae C<\/em><\/strong>, the CAFM platform developed by speedikon FM, provide a structured and efficient way to access the most important information in daily operations.<\/p>\n

As dashboard views, cockpits allow users to quickly understand the current status of buildings, assets, and processes. Key performance indicators, open tickets, expiring contracts, or unusual energy consumption patterns can be identified at a glance.<\/p>\n

In selected modules, such as fleet management, the cockpit can also support specific actions directly within the dashboard, depending on user roles and permissions. The goal is not to replace detailed system functions, but to provide a clear and efficient entry point into the platform.<\/p>\n
